Where Attention to Detail is the Big Picture
In my shop, I obsess over the small details. I believe that all the little parts of a projects make a huge impact in the end. That is why I am dedicated to my craft and taking my time with every project. Every piece is drawn out by hand, making it unique and there are no duplicates. Every piece is made with hand tools that practice the same level of craftsmanship. The only machine used is my sewing machine. I remain small to keep quality the top priority. You want value not volume. My leatherwork combines the art of floral work and the craftsmanship to make it last.
ABOUT ME
My name is Libby Twitchell. I grew up in Eastern Montana living the western way of life. From judging livestock to day working on surrounding ranches to roping at jackpots, I enjoyed every second of it. I started leatherwork in high school but I did not start taking it seriously until my 2nd year of college in 2022. After livestock judging at Casper College had ended, I had a lot of time on my hands. It did not take long to fall in love with leatherwork. I had decided to go to senior college at South Dakota State. By the end of my third year in college I came to realize I did not know what I was going to do with my degree and had only went to senior college because that is what I thought I was supposed to do. I had become obsessed with leatherwork and trying to grow a business. I decided to quit wasting time and money, doing something I was did not enjoy. I left school that year to pursue my passion. I have learned more from running a business and self teaching than I did in school. There have been growing pains along the way but it is all worth it. I am so grateful to be doing what I love every day. I am now back in my hometown of Miles City, MT, working full time self employed and continuing to grow my business. My main focus is combining the art of floral tooling and the function that is needed for items to last.
